PLZ HELP : Physical dump of memory.

Actually I dont know in which section i should put this thread. Anyways , my pc config is : P4 , 2 GHZ , 256 MB RAM , AS Rock mobo , Geforce 2 mx 400 , 20 GB HDD , WINDOWS XP SP2 . Today I formatted my windows. Now what is happening is that after the windows is loaded it runs fine for approx 5-10 mintues but then suddenly the system hangs and one blue screen comes which says " physical dump of memory " and then the the system gets restarted. what seems to be the problem guys ? I have installed a fresh copy of windows then why is this happening ? Is This related to hardware ? I Have also tried reinstalling all the hardware and its drivers but even then the problem is coming ? what should i do ? I am posting from a cyber cafe so someone plz reply quickly with a solution to my problem. :(
 
No , I Dont Think Ram is the Problem. Because Today I Brought my friends 512mb ddr ram and tested it but the same thing is happening. Also I Forgot to tell that I can hear something like a Click sound 4 -5 times when the system hangs. But I am not sure from where that sound is coming. Also Earlier I Thought maybe graphic card is gone , but when i tested my graphic card on my friends pc it was running fine.
 
any firewalls? possible driuver conflicts or ram issue.
run memtest and reformat ur system with minimal installation of drivers and updated ones.
 
go to start -> run -> minidump

you will see some files there . please zip all of them and upload it and provide a link here .

i will let you know what could be problem probably . at this point of time , it may or maynot be a hardware issue , keep you fingers crossed for a sw issue .

The clicks mayb coming from the HDD....Do you see any other error messsage...or just the physical dump error!! Im sure...it gives u some error code or something... Try to post it...or do a google...and Im sure,...u'll the cause of the problem !!
 
look at the blue screen again, it will provide you with a error code number and maybe some file thats causing a pblem or anotehr error code,post those back.
