Aren't any of the Sony Walkman available anymore? :/
I want something like the older Sony NWZ- model if anyone knows. With good battery and design. Don't want an iPod Shuffle. I love the iPod Nano (old gen. with front VGA cam) but its too expensive for my budget. I love the responsive touch and everything about it.
Anyway I'd like to get more details on portable media players. Non-video players will also but it must have a display! I last owned a Panasonic audio music player.

The only walkman I can see is the NWZ-B183F 4Gb.

Also, philips go gear mix 4gb might be an option (1.5k only).

Have no idea about the sound quality of them both. Do let me know which one you end up buying, I am also looking for one. :)

Ohh... I thought we were talking ultra cheap.

Hows the quality of the philips go gear? I need one for those running sessions. Currently, I only have an ipod touch.

Buy Fiio X1. And please consider a player with good amplification because i personally found the ath-m50's require a good amount of power to be driven for a pmp.

Its fine for its price. I later bought the Panasonic because I found the Go Gear to be ugly lol.
For jogging its will be good since its also light and also much smaller. The Panasonic one is a pretty long portable music player. Just get a good IEM. I had the Soundmagic PL11 and JVC Marshmellow. No iPods have 3.5mm ports do they?

I see. I'm no audiophile. Just that the M50's got great reviews. There are also cheaper models from ATH but I have no idea about them.

Sony AWZ-A818.

Been lying with me for a while. So not sure of battery life etc. Let me know if you want it.
You should open a FS thread.

I don't think the m50x are that great a choice for outdoor use. For one they don't have an inline mic and more importantly they are just too big. For outdoors you need iem's + pmp that together fit nicely into your front pocket
