Possibility of a XWing / Tie Fighter game

Theres a -chance- that LA may release a new (or tweaked/upgraded) ver of the old classic XWing / Tie Fighter series. For those of you who played and enjoyed those games this would be great news. Fingers crossed.....

personally i think the announcement will probably be that the games are being re-released on steam. he doesn't really commit to anything with that one line answer. lets see, i know a lot of people would be over the moon if they did in fact release a remake or a sequel.
