Nice thread...

Pine GF 2 MX 400 - this seemed to be overheating or something, though I got no indicators. I noticed the textures in GTA san andreas, especially the sky would get these black dots. Eventually the card died one day. Still got the card (not replaced since failed outside warranty. Gave a good 2 years service though
XFX Geforce MX 440 - This card lasted around 16 months, but I never actually used it, died on on of my rigs used in our studio. Card was outta warranty period. I think I may have played a quake 3 fraggy once or somethin on it.
CD drives/burners : too many to remember, the biggest faulters are samsung, followed by sony (funny but true). We chuck out 1 drive every 2 months or so of not more...
HDD's - Oh my here goes - some 50 seagate HDD's we sold came back to us just after a year (40 GB pata barracuda drives) after this we switched over to SS...no problems so far. Seagate has pulled up her socks as I've heard but aren't brave enough to risk it.
XFX 6600GT - This was a major screw off...the card got replaced soon (14~16 days) but it failed after just 5 months. The screw off was we didn't have an extra card so had to buy an ATI radeon 7000....which was used for some 15 days....
Monitor - An HP monitor gave out last year...good old thing was in the shop for more than 6 years....It didn't die but the display used to shudder, jitter etc... We still have it....senti...
memory - couple of SD strips on the P3 went bonk 2004
Mobo - an asus mobo (400 fsb intel one 845gl chipset) got damaged due to earthing probs...the board is slightly bent now...and we've used thermacool strips to try straighten it...Starts and then shuts off...irregular...eventually new year res 2006...I threw the board out...
Oh 5-6 intex keyboards at my shop...these keep plonking off...no big deal.
ditto mice
2-3 pen drives conked it too over a period of 3 years (not used very much)
