i had 119MB/sec with 2 x 250gb seagate in raid but didnt install raid after format as didnt have floppy drive to give raid driver :rofl:

bought 2 x 500GB 7200.11 32mb cache drives today and did raid 0 , heres the score :p

My OS drive. Seagate 250GB model: ST3250310AS. Average read: 89.1 MB/s



Storage drive, Seagate 320GB. Model: ST3220620AS. Average read: 66.1 MB/s



Storage drive, Western Digital 640GB, model no: WD640AAKS. Average read: Average read: 96.7 MB/s



FYI: Hard disk with partitions have faster scores.

Some TESTS done, WD640 will take hours, will add later.
