Got hold of this card.
The only 8600GT in the market as of now which has the cooler that covers even RAM chips and the only 8600GT that is HDCP ready.
Shame on XFX. But then kudos to POV

Its for the 6600 or the 3600- down grade for the former yes.
But an upgrade for the latter.hyeah:
