Hi friends,

I want to know how to measure the total watts required for my rig,so that i can buy a PSU according to that.

btw plz let me know any good PSU for around 3-3.5k.

I am going to make a rig for core 2 duo & i have calculated the total watts & it is around 390.

So plz suggest a good psu of around 400-450w.

Get a Powersafe 550 or 600W or a Vantec Ion Storm 460W

Please post ur Rig config like how many HDD, CD/DVD Rom , Graphics Card etc.

powersafe 500w is arnd 3k.
Powersafe 600w is 5k.
Zebronics 640w is arnd 5k
vantec ion2 460w is 3500/-
If your budget is arnd 3.5k,then vantec is ur best bet,grt built,also got 30A on 12v Rail.Good stability.

There are power supplies like cooler master for around 1.5 K and also from VIP avaliable at nehru place in new delhi

that vantec is a bad ass psu,does quad sli too,need 2 find that link 2 show u guys thats its stable at that too
