Hi
Since my evga 7600 gt went kaput after 3 years i went ahead and got a powercolor 4850 card.Paid 6750/- for it.Hope thats not too much.

But guess what, it doesnt come with any cables whatsoever.

In bangalore can anyone on here lend me a pci e power adapter since my psu doesnt have a 6 pin.Or where in bangalore can i buy one. Some place near kamanahalli where i stay.Or do i need to go all the way to SP road.

I believe this is a good PSU and want to try with an adapter before i spend more money on another PSU.

It has (or says it has ) 2 12 v with 14 A on one and 13 A on the other rail.

rajeev

P.S.Urgent guys , i cant stand to watch my shiny new card lying in the electrostatic cover idle. :ohyeah:

Change your PSU.Do not try using 6 pin adapter,it will be very risky.Get Gigabyte superb 460 or Corsair CX 400.

If you want to gamble your ATI 4850 with a .5k psu , then fine go ahead.

Don't cry later if your psu goes in smoke taking your gfx with it.

Change your PSU to Gigabyte 460W - 2.2k immediately

Its not a 0.5k PSU. Cost 2000/- 3 years ago with a 3 year warranty.

But iam going for a corsair vx 450 after some deliberation and thinking.

Thanks,Any other suggestions are welcome.
