Prehistoric, pretty lightweight 13" white polycarbonate macbook 2008 (Macbook 4,1 - Ah, those curves!) model is up for sale!
Well, let me tell you why it is lightweight first.

1. No battery.
2. No LCD display (display removed), need external display.
3. No charger (using MBP's charger which I will keep).
4. Keyboard present, but not working, need external keyboard and mouse.

Specs - 2.1GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 500GB HDD, 4GM DDR3 RAM, 2USB ports etc.
Running on OS X 10.7.5 now, AFAIK can install newer versions using Julian's osx-patcher.
Installed Ubuntu using rEFInd. Worked fine at that time, may need to reinstall. Lightweight distros like Mint etc. should work.

Not for someone who is planning to use it as a normal desktop/laptop but for people to experiment or to put in their private museums:)

Quoted price as INR 1200, hope that is ok for 500GB HDD plus 4GB RAM and then for the ancient macbook. Please feel free to comment on.
Shipping - DTDC or Delhivery. Charges extra.

Sorry I did not read why it is lightweight. I am out
No worries. Basically it is CPU part only.
