The box contain almost all the required details. For those are used to see the normal zebronics smps, you are in for a surprise over here as soon as you see the box. The quality of the box coupled with the detailed specification and graphics is neat.

Contents :

Once you open the box you are presented with the smps wrapped around in a bubble wrap, a Power cord and few screws. Just the basic required items.

[BREAK=The Product]

External

The quality of this smps is far better than the basic smps from the zebronics. It is pretty good. Only the ATX cable is sleeved and this is a non-modular psu.

Inside

The inside of this power supply looks neat. This comes with Triple 12V Rails rated @ 24A each. The peakout out of the 12V rail is 576w. The Caps used are from "Capxon". The fan used is the Yate Loon 120mm (Model : D12SH-12), rpm rated @ 2200 +/- 10% , 88cfm. The fans is doing a very good job at keeping the noise down and at the same time offering good cooling to the components.

[BREAK=Conclusion]

Conclusion:

This seems to be a good quality product from zebronics. I wasn't able to review this product due to the lack of equipements. OEM of this power supply is HEC and the model is HEC-600TN-2WX . Finally the price of this smps is Rs.3700/- and it comes with 3 years warranty from Top Notch Infotronix.

As per specs chart sticker on the 350W,
On one hand, this supposedly 80+ psu claims 19A on each 12v rail (seems so out of sync wrt overall rating).
On the other hand, it states just 276W available on the 12v rail (which is not soout of sync consiidering the overall rating after sparing some room for 3.3v and 5V).

Bikey... elaborato karo bhaai.... maybe a review... :P

276W is < 23A on the 12V line. I don't see the point of rating two lines to 19A each, when it is able to only deliver 23A total from the power supply. That is Bikey's point, methinks.

A quick calculation shows us that for the 600 W reviewed here, 576 W = 48A, so each rail may be rated for 24A but the power supply itself can only deliver max power on two of those rails, not all three. also the ATX 2.2 spec limits current to 20A on each 12V rail, so 24A makes the PSU non-compliant.

This is not indicative of a problem, however. The ATX spec is very misleading and this is the sort of thing that makes people doubt a PSU. It is unlikely I'll be trying these for a while, but a supply with 48A on the 12V line will be able to power more or less any kind of a rig out there today for all except the highest end PCs. And if the spec is accurate, a supply with a genuine 23A/275 watts on a 12V line can handle a 90 watt card and a 125 watt CPU fine, even at full tilt, and also run a few hard drives while all this is going on.

However it *is* from Zebronics, and I'd still be worried putting these into a rig with costly hardware. Maybe the cheaper 350 could be starting point for less demanding and critical rigs. However have yet to see a review of these, so would be great to see one of those under a surgeon's knife.

It's exactly that. You can get 19+4, or 4+19, or any number in between. Makes more sense to lump it into one 23A line (or two 12A lines, if there are indeed two separate lines required) and be done with it. the dual 19Amp spec is meaningless when the overall limit is lower than the sum. Makes it look inflated, and so is very misleading.

Now I seriously hope its atleast 80% efficient... I doubt it though... it could be @ 100% load but below that it might be ~70-75% efficient... just an assumption... :ashamed:

:sos: can you suggest a vfm psu for this setup - corsair is bit costly for me and i will not oc - any thing in within 3k-if possible

PHP:
Will PRO-350 will be enough for 4850 with 3 hdd,1 dvd rw,3 usb ,duel core cpu?

:thanx:

^ then u can get corisar 400 watt will handle u rig or 450 vx

btw zebronics 350 or 400 watt will give only 70-80% bronze efficacy

cause corsair 450 vx has GOLD efficacy better rating and lifetime long running and 5 year warranty cause zebronic is manf from china brand so not use anyway it is unless and not test propeller psu cause the warranty service center is poor

English mate... English... :@
VX450 is not GOLD its plain 80% only... No bronze or silver either... :bleh:

Source : - 80 Plus PSU List

Also silver 80% is above 82% efficiency so Zebby 350 PRO is neither... :P

and you are talking about Zebby or VX450... :S :ashamed:

corsair has 9 in 80plus and 1 in 80+bronze,,zebby is not in the list.

so it seems corsair is a entry level descent reliable vfm psu brand

any one used FSP ? Seasonic ?

Please do not derail the discussion here?

If you can type in English, you must also know that everything has it's own place.

So please post your query on what psu to buy or any other matter in the relevant sections- please. :)

Quality and reliability apart, one thing that worries me is Zebronics after-sales-service in Mumbai is not so good (would have said 'rather pathetic' but i can't be so harsh to anyone- maybe they didn't like my face and some others may have had better luck.)

i really think this review is pretty good but do u think this psu holds up for heavy graphics cards like gtx 260 and further?

iam asking coz i have a 750 corsair so i dont know how well this performs in practical
