Need to buy a 512MB laptop DDR 333 module (PC2700)

Am in the US (JC) till Friday ...
Transcend Price on Newgg is 65$ but Unfortunately, I can't order from there :@ as the morons don't accept non US credit cards....Also Morons insist that ur CC billing/ goods shipping address be the same.....
The price at Bestbuy cash & carry is 180$ :O for the same....

Could someone tell me the Chennai price, and whether it makes sense to buy at 'Bestbuy' (How Ironic!!)
have time till Thursday to decide....
 
Man, r u really crazy to buy from BB??

Go to any local pc shop (any neighbourhood shop) and ask the price.

We always buy from local shops, esp. the chinese shops.

The only time we buy from BB or OD is when they hve a sale or if there is a possibility to do a price match..

Price match - Best buy will give you the item for the lowest price minus another ten percent of the difference, if u can show them a lower price for the same item..

ok, u hve a chance - r u sure it's the same brand as newegg. Then print out the webpage showing the newegg price and goto bestbuy. show them the lower price. u r done.
 
Well the prices u mention are astronomical!
In Singapore 512 MB TwinMOS DDR 333 laptop RAM was available for 115 USD.
And I bought 256 MB of the same for 42 USD
 
ordered from newegg using a office mate's card...65.99 +12.40 + NJ sales tax(shipping for 2 night)

Fedex expres shipping was free but unfortunately was risky considering it takes 3 days + processing time....
total was approx 3600 INR @44 per USD

wonder what the prices @home are....
Will chk it out at Ritchie street next week
