They are talking about Antec Fans... but still that's too high...

refer to the market section for a good deal on antec 120mm tricool fan. almost the same one that ABGB is asking Rs.1700/- for, I am selling at Rs.600/-!!!

mean do they look cool and nice or just cheap ? also do u get them from other companies also or not ? in india only as i feel prices of sidewinder.com is quite high when it comes to shipping also !!!

thanks guys !

are go for Glacialtech 4 LED transparent 120mm fan for just Rs. 400-450. i own one of that but because of its price i dismissed the fans as cheap without even looking at the specification, its 2200RPM, and throws air @ 87.5 CFM which is quite good. So not only would they look good but would do a good job of cooling as well.

wanted to ask you all where could i get those CCFL lights you keep in tha cabby, those blue ones esp. ? and also those LED cabby fans ?

I bought one from... PRIME.... for 400/- last week. Its not a very nice fan as it is noisy and it vibrates a lot so it may not be good to use on a CPU cooler. The quality of material used feels quite cheap and to me looks likely to crack when tightening a screw on it. But, the price of 400/- makes it a decent buy.

Antec fans are expensive as they are silent and have a high MTBF..... though 1.7K is high. you can import SilenX fans for that amount (including shipping and duty)..... which are better

NOT according to the people in some of the other forums I visit. For some reason they seem to dislike the SilenX fans. I have read people writing against the SilenX fans a lot in the XS and OCForums.

Maybe coz they are silent for the high cfm but lack static pressure for effective use with heatsinks.:ashamed:
(the noise rating also seems a bit too low for the silenX FDB fans when scythe/sony FDB ones are rated at higher dbA for lower cfm.)

^^^ The main grouch people have against SilentX fans is that the specs mentioned are not accurate and the maker gives wrong specs to make for higher sales. Sometimes in threads I have seen an absolute loathing for these fans.
