hope it dosnt harm the cpu in any way,it's just a human way of doubting things which are really so weirdly priced low :p .... 15 rs for two, does it give u a ok enuf performance ???
yep it does the job.has never given me any problems

have u all , did mix chunna with something that will make it more better and how many times in month do u guys change the thermal chunna paste ;)

errr dont use that Nepali paste as thermal grease, atleast get a CM HTK-002 for around 150 would be enough for single pc for almost a year or even more if it stays good.

you can get it at one of those road vendors who stock mouse and cheap headphones.ask them they will definately have it at lamington road.

u get that chunna anywhere...

also available in normal electrical and electronics shops

most people fail to understand the actual purpose of HS compound

the only main purpose is contact..

(just try the temp w/o a compound

mine was

dow corming - 31-33

chunna(its actually a white ceramic grease) - 32-34

nothing - 52-55

other factors like heat conduction(which only results in 2-3 deg diff) comes later...

(here is where high perf compound like artic silver comes in picture)

Thermal transfer compound comparison

just check the graph at the end of the article

imho the chunna is the best HS paste afaik price to perf is concerned...

just 2-3 degrees difference

Well the very same CHUNA can corrode the heat spreader over the time & the heat produced by the CPU just works as a catalyst for faster corrosion, also there is risk of melting of chuna & spilling over the board thus damaging your system...

Thanks but i do not need it as of now. Last time bought it for a friend and he has given the arctic one to me as his work is done. Wanted to know where can i get it from a shop there to suggest my other friends.

Quotes are slightly higher. Same mobo+Proccy listed for 5.25k in TheITWares!
