Talked to Ashirwad and they said that prices have gone up due to dollar rate appreciation. i5 2500k is 11.5k now and V-Pro is 13950Rs :( :(. Guess you'll have to add VAT to it..

BTW, went to SP road last Saturday to look for a internal card reader but couldn't anything better than a cheapo plastic SVB card reader model. Guess I'll have to buy it online as another forum member has posted in my thread.

Few more price update from last week,

MX HDMI cable (HDMI 1.4) 5mtrs - 850Rs.

MX ethernet cable - 15Rs per meter.

McAfee Internet Security 3PC - 1500Rs

Also one of my friend bought iOmega 1TB Prestige Edition (Power Adapter) for a very good price but it was employee discount.

Regards,

Guys i am going to SP road tomorrow. This is my first visit. Planning to purchase a i3 based computer. Any pointers which shop should i visit.

^Usual shops on the circuit are: Aashirwad, Jainex, Ankit, IT Gain and last Golchha. Go to each shop, note down the prices, if you are not in hurry then come back and post here on TE just to confirm the prices, then go and buy wherever you get the best deal.

Enjoy!

^^ Recently acquired these components from Golccha Inter-trade --

ASUS GTX 560 Direct CU ~ 11000/-

Antec TruePower 550W [hybrid modular set-up] ~ 4000/-

I wonder why it is recommended so oftenly herely.i had the worst experience here. No one cares what you want. Rates are on par with the other places except for CM elite 360. They have quoted 3000. They have even confirmed by calling some other places too. So needless to say i came out of it in no time.BTW seagate

barracuda 1TB hard disk costs around 5500 here.

Also when to Jainex, Sun and other shops. The rates are almost same everywhere.

My choice computersYes,its the shop name

I am sure not many people do not know about this small shop but i got my PC here. The guy has given the better quotes when compared to the other shops i have

visisted. The only con here if you are not informed of what you need he will sell whatever he has in the shelf.

Intel i3 2100 6100

DH67BL 5400

Corsair 1333 4GB 1000

Seagate barracuda 7200 1TB 4700

CM elite 360 1900

FSP saga 2 500W 2300

LG 22X DVD RW 850

Guys some one tell me is FSP Saga II a good PSU. Corsair CX 430 V2 is not available with that guy. So has to go with this. Ankit and other are not willing to give

430 alone.

FSP, just like Seasonic, is OEM manufacturer for many brands including Antec, Zalman, Coolermaster etc. So rest assured.

A few of DarkAngel's PC Buying Guide configurations include variants of FSP Saga II
