No Vantecs anywhere...Apex/the distrib. has stopped selling them and instead sells its own brand APICAL which is a tsunami OEM..:huh: :(

afaik antec had an enclosure.. i think saiyaman has one of those.. do check it out.

you could also consider the CoolerMaster XCraft.. i think that comes for about 1k odd..

@switch.. you got the wd's for less than 3.6k??? :P
 
Hey Stalker... any idea where to get that XCraft enclosure in Mumbai?

I noticed on CM's website that it has three variants... ideally, RX-3SB is the model I'm looking for (Sata, USB2, eSata). At 1k odd that makes it pretty good deal.

where can i get the xcraft in mumbai for 1k? hoping an answer soon. ill be going to prime tomorrow to pick up the hard drive.

i had called up in prime sometime in the afternoon for enquiring about an enclosure, i dont know who picked up the phone, it was neither swapnil nor minal. anyways he said that they only had a TAG enclosure for 800 bucks. i believe they should be having more. they also stocked vantecs right?

I To Stock These ,Members Will Hae a Better Idea If My Rate Is Good Or OK ,But I Keep All Xcraft Series ,And i Have Just Edited The Same On My Website

why not quote the price here , makes it simple rather than visiting the site....
since u would know abt this...i would like to know if there is any casing available for more than 1 hdd....for eg. i would like to run a new wd640 + my old IDE hdd in the same casing....is that possible ? if not is there any casing to run 2 sata's simultaneously ? , note : im not looking for a hot-swap....just the number matters :)

I Do Not Have Anything Like This,Find It FRom Abroad And Ask KMd To Get That For You .
 
About the casing - i dont mind spending upto 1.5k for a good quality enclosure. The Antec MX 1 is not available anywhere AFAIK, but is on sale in the USA for 20$ at circuitcity ;)

Amarbir - When youre selling on TE, i think you should be prepared for competition and the desire of people to extract the best possible rates.

Amarbir is giving his best possible price and KMD does his part very well also. We should be very much happy to have them both in TE coz it's because of the dealers the competition lives. :ohyeah:

If we have more orders from TE members than expected, any regular at prime wanting to negotiate a better deal from prime?

I'm planning join the bandwagon and pick one from lammy on saturday.
