That's a sad news ViralBug... sorry about your Tag case. But then thanks again, at least now I know what to avoid.

I guess I might order Thermaltake casing I saw on newegg, either via KMD... or I can wait and ask one of my friend to get it in September end.
 
mccan had an enter casing for 600. according to 200mph they are ok.

yup amarbir has coolermaster casings. i got a pm from him saying he will revise the prices tomorrow.
 
Finally Bought the WD640 From Prime for 3850, i know that amarbir is selling it for cheap, but wanted a drive by today itself....
Yeah also picked up a Sunbeam Blue CCFL kit for 340 Rs.......

Me too got a WD 640 for Rs. 3780/- in Bangalore. :)
Would like to specify that most shops were selling the drive for >4K except a couple from where i got the HDD.
Shop's name: Akshay Computers(Just for people who mite want to get the drive locally)
 
prime is quoting 3750 for everyone... try getting it at less as a TE member.... i asked prime over the mail without mentioning TE and i was quoted 3750 rs....

Lol, no i just called and spoke to Swapnil ( I think Meenal is now married :P).
That guy said, "for you , its 3850 ". No matter what these people are business people, Looks like we have both been had sometime or the other from Prime. They know that is the first place we will think of buying.

In any case 200 rs is not that big a deal. So its not like i am having a heart attack. But yeah, I would advise people to ask around before jumping to conclusions :D lol
 
anyway.. i guess this kicks seagate 500gb out of the option at the moment.. as both the hdd are rated at same price...

Seagate price drop is inevitable but depends on the distris to realize this... Delhi prices had reached 3.1k & may go down below 3k.... If it touches Rs. 2.8k then its a good buy otherwise no sense getting it....
 
2.8k for 500 gigs...

damn what do i do which the 160 and 80 gig hdd stacked to my download rigs... ;-) throw away.. ;-)
 
just got a news from a frnd shopping in lammy..500GB is for 3150 already...seagate/WD. 640GB is hardly available..so he'd heading to prime now..
 
Got 3850 quote from Swapnil (Prime) today as well. No enclosures yet, but he expects to get the Coolermaster X Craft soon...
