Prince of persia art work revealed

yeah the video looks different than the pics.

i do agree that the new prince doesnt look so nice. :p the old one was way cooler.

but this is supposed to be a prequel right? then this must be how he looked earlier. :p

^^NO NO... the producers say this is a different prince... there were lots of prince of persia :p

clear sky is prequel too but looks better :) , the question is not about sequel or prequel its the technology which keeps updating with our time and not with story of some game ;)

am not the one for another similar prince....enuf with sands... this is new direction...cell shading should stand out...and i can't wait to lay my hands onto this game, being an art freak myself.

Saw the video.. as expected it looks different, not that different I agree. Cant wait to lay my hands on this one. December shopping list updated.. PS3! :yahoo:

Its been a while since I played any game. Need to start with HL2 for starters

hmmmm on one hand i like the way it looks.. the tex is amazing in a few places.. on the other i just hope they didnt screw the gameplay

Combat sounds splendiferous.

Prince of Persia is not a button masher. Combat is built on a simple principle. You have a button for your sword, one for your gauntlet, one for Elika, and one for acrobatics. There are no set combos, no "light" and "heavy" attacks. Instead, Prince offers a dynamic fighting system that adapts based on what button you press and when you press it.

You might strike first with the gauntlet, which launches your enemy into the air, then when he is at his full height, hit the sword button for an air strike followed by the Elika button to see her launch the enemy even higher in the air and then finish with the gauntlet again to perform a grab move and throw the Hunter into the ground.
