CPU/Mobo Problem in Booting(Abit IP 35E)

I have a PC with the following config.

Intel C2D 4500 2.2GHz
Abit IP 35 E
2GB Transcend DDR2 800MHz(1GBx2)
160GB SEAGATE SATA HDD
Galaxy 8600GT 256MB DDR3
SONY 820A DVD Writter
SAMSUNG DVD Drive
FRONTECH TV Tuner Card
D-LINK Internal Modem
LOGITECH Web Cam
ATP 3 2:1 Speakers
SAMSUNG SYNC 793s 17" CRT Monitor
400 watts Antec SP PSU & SLK 3000B Cabinet
650VA APC UPS
I got the Proce, MOBO and Graphics card just one month ago.
Whenever I switch on the CPU the LEDs of HDD and other drives are blinking(ie.the system starts) for 5 seconds then suddenly the power is off and then immediately restart. After this problem the system is running very smoothly without any problem.
What is the reason for this strange problem?
(i think this is due to my new MOBO or problem in my CPU's ON/OFF Switch)
Please give me a solution.

henever I switch on the CPU the LEDs of HDD and other drives are blinking(ie.the system starts) for 5 seconds then suddenly the power is off and then immediately restart. After this problem the system is running very smoothly without any problem.

AFAIK..this isnt a problem......so dont worry.

Its the dual boot for ip35 e ... u can use a moded BIOS to counter this porblem .. but i would suggest you to wait for a official release of the BIOS which will ncounter the problem .. and it is not exactly a PROBLEM. you can live with it ..

this is the double reboot issue with Abit ip35E mobo ,although can be fixed with bios update. This is the reason i am looking for some other mobo to buy otherwise abit is a good overclocker and gr8 VFM.

I removed the side panel of my caby and watching the booting process,
Whenever the CPU switch is on the Fans(Caby Fab and Processor Fan) are starts running for 5 seconds then suddenly the power is off and on immediatly.Afterwards no issues.
Is this like restarting the system?
But when the system starts the Scan Disc screen is not appearing, the system running without any problem.

How to solve the double rebooting Problem?
I don't know the BIOS updating Process.
How to update the BIOS.

ANy specific reason that why you want to solve it ?? coz i wont recommend you using a moded BIOS. It may coz you problems .. and i think it will void the warranty of your board.

Dont worry, Dont listen to UR fren. Its normal, many P965 and P35 mobos double post. BIOS 14 has fixed this but is buggy when comes to overclocking.

So I wont suggest U BIOS upgrade, No need to take risk if everything works fine. I m using BIOS 12, it double boots but very steady version.

U r using 14 beta or final?? In ma case double post gone, but new issue - "FSB reset to 200MHz on startup". Speedwise, Overclocking wise 12 is best. I benchmarked with Super Pi, 12 is fast.
