Problem with Dataone

janitha, just try an install of an older windows version on some other partition. It just might work - for me it did

there is a properties button. clicking on that will bring up the option plus another option which says - Notify me when this connection has limited or no connectivity.

disable both if you want or only the first checkbox.
Btw which edition of XP you're using? home or pro? cause these are available in the pro version. dont have home version so cant tell.

Thanks a lot. It worked. Repped.
XP Home OEM SP3 with uptodate patches. Have a XP Pro OEM Pack also which I have not installed yet.
