Graphic Cards Problem With Palit Hd 4850

I bought the palit hd4850 from US....but it is giving problem.such as disorted screen .some sort of lines inbetween.and the screen goes blank in beetween too.........before installing the driver graphic card is fine.but after installing catalyst (i tried 8.2 and 9.3 on XP) it start giving problems.any solution?

what PSU are you using?

also try with catalyst 9.4 as they are latest.

I m also face same problem with my Palit 4850 Sonic.Its a card problem ....

Yea i see a Palit 4850 go kaput almost 1nce-in-evry-3-days.. Sorry pal, its RMA TIME

Just make sure ur PSU is compatible.. b4 going in for the RMA option..

yea totally... get a VX450 before a New GPU comes. PSU is of Utmost importance, some ppl learn it the hard way.

Rate of Palit 4850 go kaput Higher than other cards...

I RMA my 4850 Sonic 4 times ....

1st put ur crd in ny of ur friends pc n check if the problem is still their, if the prob still persist than rma ur crd. hope dis helps........

i tried with the two machines it is the same problem..........if i want to repair it in mumbai without sending it to us then where to do that?

IMO no one repair ur 4850 .....

Why not u send card to RMA ???
