I have TP35D2-A7+ Intel E4500 + ST 3250824A ATA from last two years which is working fine on windows 7.
I recently brought wd10eads and connected to this system & made it primary( by installing 64 bit win 7 ). For few days it worked fine , but lately I started seeing issue where the bootup was taking time , also was taking time whenever I tired to access the HDD. Then I removed the 64 win 7 , installed 32 bit win 7 on it. Made it secondry and again made ST 3250824A primary.
This also worked for few days then one find day during the auto detect , the detection for the wd10eads stared taking lot of time. Even after spending the time , I cannot see this HDD when windows come up.
Now I can't use this HDD & I don't this problem is coming because of whom?
When I connected the wd10eads on some other PC , it was detected I was able to access it normally.
The ST 3250824A is IDE drive & wd10eads is sata drive.
So I am guessing the sata pins on my mobo may be having problem.
Is anybody using any sats drives with TP35D2-A7? Have you seen such issue?
If it is mobo issue , then what mobo I can but ? I don't want to change anything except mobo so
the new mobo should be compatible with
1) DDR2
2) Intel E4500
3) Sata + IDE
4) 8600 grafix card.
Can you please help me? :S
