Problem with USB MP3 Flash Player

Hi Guys, Happy Christmas.
I have a 1GB USB MP3 flash player (probably chinese).Though the capacity is said to be 1 GB, it only plays music installed on first 55mb.
1. When I install music files, for few minutes installation is slow but later on it is very rapid.
2. It does not play music files stored beyond 55mb approximately, either in shuffle mode or in direct mode.Same is true if I try to play files stored on it through various players installed on my PC.
3. I have formatted it several times but with the same results.
4.Previously, I used to see some sort of .bin file but now it is missing.
5. Disk error check does not show anything in bad sector.

Any and all suggestions are welcome. thanks.

the mem chip is corrupted. this thing is common in case of cheap chinese gadgets. No solution though. Just insert 9-10 songs then play.........again insert and play.......

Thanks for the compliments you are welcome. :D

Oops :p did we hurt your feelings? My bad :bleh:

Ask the seller to exchange your USB Mp3 player for 32GB Kingston Pendrive which is available for around Rs.500/- only.

Also, You install songs on your mp3 player :S

I simply copy-paste songs onto my mp3 player.

Anyways thanks to you I can finally write something in the post called 'Encounter with Noobs' in general sections

BTW whr is the post by prabs???????

Got deleted by the moderator I guess as it was a bit (too) rude for the OP.

I got into a heated argument once in NFS-Shift discussion with a fellow member and all my and his posts where we bashed each other were deleted. So that is pretty normal.

Conclusion of the story - Be polite no matter what. Even when the person you are dealing with is a complete idi*t - BE POLITE :)

Immaculate conclusion.

Also refrain from using Hindi on the forums. It may sound harsh but this is how it has to be.
