problems with Yahoo! Mail

SInce last nite am getting the following error..

tried to chage password, yahoo says invalid ID.. but when i used the 'forgot username' option, yahoo sent me a mail saying my ID and a link to change password.. there it accepts the info i give and gives a new password.. but then, back to square one.. HELP!!!
 
^^ tried all that.. funny thing is only "mail" part doesnt work.. i can still access the "Address" and can even change the "Accoutn INformation"

Address book options works too.. anythign related to "mail" part doesnt work :(
 
have you tried logging into a different a/c to see if its a/c specific or not ?
 
Masky try a different browser and just open a new dummy account to see if that works or does it have same problems too.

edit : just saw your reply, in that case just hold on, try after a few hours. i will look for other solutions meantime. maybe something wrong on yahoo's part.

Masky, if its urgent then you can try d/l the mail directly via pop to OE using yahoopops or freepops :) maybe that will work.

not sure if it will help.. i have a @yahoo.co.in a/c.. :(.. been trying to get it working for the last couple of hours.. no luck so far with OE and T'bird.. :(

seriously though, u might like to conta the yahoo webmasters.
 
i personally feel yahoo is really irritating and slow:@

gmail gives you the illusion of being fast and user friendly

we must all make a firm resolve to boycott yahoo and switch over to gmail:hap2:
 
Even I have been having a lot of probs with yahoo probs since today, its slow as hell and get the page not found error pretty frequently.
Guess they may be experiencing some kinda DOS attacks.
 
^ Looks like it's a problem with yahoo, so wait like masky is doing, we would update as soon as someone finds a solution.
 
looks like the errors have gone.. atleast they have subsided.. i cud access my yahoo mail.. was still the error a few times, but hopefully its gone for good ..
