Hi Folks,

Opening thread to buy used processor, motherboard and RAM for a very good friend of mine (not the one for whom I am looking for laptop :))

Motherboard for AMD or Intel

Must have onboard graphics, SATA 3Gbps ports and other usual specs

Processor AMD or Intel

At least AMD X2 3800+ or higher (depending on motherboard)
Intel Core 2 duo ... must have Intel-VT support (depending on motherboard)

RAM

2 x 2GB RAM - DDR2 800MHz i guess ... again depending on mobo and processor.

Usage -- want to replace one very old rig ... very normal usage ... occasional photoshop and movies

I got a system consisting of the AMD Sempron 2500 with the MSI K8MVV Mobo and 512MB RAM. I was going to put it up for sale in the next couple of days. Would you be interested?
