What are the programs/shows you folks watch on TV these days?
With those FHD TVs and HD DTHs, people do watch TV a lot or in cases forced to watch :p
Share/discuss/recommend your favorite contemporary programs here.
Whether its Big Boss/Roadies or CID or MTV or some 'mega' Saas-bahu or Don No 1 (everyday) or Star Sports 1~8 or NGC/Disco !!

Discovery - How do they do it
Disc sc - How its made
Nat Geo wild - fish tank kings which stopped few weeks back all of sudden.
History 18 - Kings of restoration. That Rick guy does awesome restoration jobs. And charges a lot of money too.
Disc HD - world from above series.
 
Only 'serial' I watch is Crime Petrol Dastak - thats too not regularly - sometimes.
And yeah sometimes KBC.
Besides I have to sit through Masterchef Australia occasionally, since my wife watches it.

Rest it always some old movie or TV series like BBT, Castle (already watched) or some random music channel. :)
 
Hindi stuff I watch...

Comedy Nights with Kapil
Bigg Boss (every season I have seen, try never to miss it :p )
CID (when nothing else is coming, still like this series, even repeats)
I try to never watch the Telugu / Tamil / other south Indian language movies dubbed in Hindi, most channels are having the same Mera Badla, Meri Ladai and the same crap on all movie Channels.
Discover, Nat Geo and History while channel surfing and watching it when something interesting is coming.
 
I expect many people to say that they don't watch anything on Indian TV and it may be true as well but many a times people do that just to look cool, "i only watch English channels" types.
Personally I see Indian reality TV shows for the drama and time pass value. Every time watching English stuff is not really my cup of tea.
Btw yes it forgot roadies. I watch that too.
 
Nothing except news and sports.
Occasionally though, if something nice comes up on Discovery, Nat Geo, Animal Planet, or History Channel, then watch that too.

Used to love the show but the two now seem to focus more on wisecracks than actual reviews of eateries/restaurants of cities they visit. Still quite entertaining though!
 
Roadies. The audition rounds are much more entertaining than the tasks.

I used to love hindi soaps as a kid, but cant watch them now,maybe due to slow paced nature and unnecessary fillers.
 
Hmm, forgot to mention, I sometimes watch those shitty Indian reality shows, right, twice or thrice a year, because I like to go tasteless once or twice, and it's a better replacement than porn I believe. Don't know what the hell is wrong with people by calling English channels 'cool' (I find their idiocy level is lesser than ours, at least on the TV programmes) but what you see you see, do you talk about it with anyone else? So how come the 'cool' factor taking effect? A nuisance point if you ask me.
Well loads of people liked Chennai Express, while I wanted to pee on the screen, what can you do :|
