Re: Prototype

Awesome Game.....

I really liked it...

Though many things seems to be already been used...But as in wholesome I like the package...

The combats are good... I like the powers....

I am just 4 stages awsy from finishing the Game on my PC.....

Later!@!!!!

Re: Prototype

I just started playing the game! Heh not too late I guess! :ashamed:

But my X360 controller just doesn't vibrate. Set the vibration to ON and still it doesn't. :(

Everything else just works fine. Peeps here who've been using Win7 x64 7100 RC + the game + the X360 controller: have you faced a similar issue? Any workarounds? Missing the vibration part in the game. :(

EDIT: Double-you Tee Eff! It started working! Perhaps it required some warming up! :P

Bring it on!! :ohyeah:

Re: Prototype

w00t, whatta game! :O

Amazing physics and not to mention the element of hack-n-slash! :ohyeah:

26 missions outta 31 over. Sheesh after Q4 I dont think I've played something which's as engrossing as this! :P

Re: Prototype

^And what's the fuss about? I never knew games couldn't be played any later, duh! :|

Re: Prototype

jus finished the game a few days back :) i liked te game play but it does get repetitive but its stii fun :) no SLI support by drivers though :@

Re: Prototype

Yeah but I didn't notice I that much cuz I was having so much fun! :D Plus the story kinda keeps it engaging too. U want repetitive? Try Assassin's Creed. Beautiful game but extremely repetitive. That said, I'm definitely gonna buy AC2 when it releases. :D

:O no sli support ? i was thinking why my 295 is crying at 50 fps on max settings

Re: Prototype

Is this game too light?

Coz im able to play it maxed out 4xAA and 4X AF @ 1920*1080 on my 4870.

nyway nice game.

Re: Prototype

Yep, doesn't seem to have any Crossfire support either. However the graphics are not that great, so I was getting somewhere between 70~90FPS

on avg. Its heavily CPU intensive however.

Re: Prototype

IIRC , this uses the Spiderman : Web Of Shadows engine, which for the uninitiated, has a similar storyline, and gameplay. But Prototype was still a better game, maybe coz of the different powers and a better storyline. Spidey has become a bit passe :P

Re: Prototype

Just completed the game. Whatta monster was that Supreme Hunter in the end of the mission? :O

Not to mention I was on Normal difficulty. Had to play at least a dozen times to get the right knack to kill the b!tch! Found an even easier method - throw those choppers onboard the ship and keep running and occasionally consuming a soldier. Keep Mercer away from his devastator pwr as far as you can while in the Armor + Blade mode. Got it right the 2nd time I used this tactic. :P

All in all a worthy game I played on PC this year, hands down! So, can we expect a sequel? ;)

Re: Prototype

A great game i wld say...graphics can be better but due to large open ended environment...i guess they cldnt do better than that.....awesome powers....and a very good story (don forget to collect all the web intrigues 130+)....a convincing end...

i wld give it 8/10.
