Hello All,

I know a dealer who can offer brand new PS3 320GB (Firmware 3.50) with Move Controller,

Selling Price: Rs 24000/-
Warranty: 1yr from the date you purchase
Shipping: As per actuals
Current Location: Pune
PS3 Available: 20 Pcs

Let me know if any one is interested.
Mods since these are from a dealer I don't have the pics of the boxes.

Even with the controller and jb possibility, way too pricey.
But how come still offering 1 yr warranty ? Dealer warranty or Manufacturer's ?
 
They are all Oct 2011 pieces. They all have 3.50 firmware. To be precise they are 2508B models. The warranty will be from the date of purchase. You will get a bill of 18999/-.
As long as you soft mod the PS3 the warranty is valid. If you use hard mod then the warranty is not valid. Specially if you upgrade the PS3 to 4.00 or 4.11 and then downgrade it, it requires E3 or Sprokeet and the warranty is void.
Cant share the name of the dealer as he has said not do so and he would be dealing directly with me for all transactions.
 
24k Is actually quite a lot! 21-22k is still sensible but then still if you want to play latest games you gotta spend 3k more to get the TB Dongle + and External HDD so total costs would be around 30-32k !!
Better option get an xbox for 14k and mod it. Just a thought here for the people who are thinking to buy a PS3 for playing ahem games. XBOX is the better option right now.
 
Now how many of us would really buy a PS3 for BLU Ray support? If you're going to play ahem games you dont need a blu ray on your console. :P
and blu ray dvd players are available at such a cheap rate these days!

True that, i would buy Xbox just to play ahem games, the only game which made me buy ps3 was GOW3 and im done with that and ps3 is now laying idle

My friend got an October '11 bundle 160GB (CECH-2508B), which came with stock 3.60 firmware from Letsbuy. There are people on other forums with 320GB bundles of the same model who have got 3.60 stock firmware as well. So unless, this dealer has hooked every single console up to check the firmware is 3.50, I'd say you're going by a hunch. Not to mention, the ambiguity that the dealer has asked to maintain and to conduct transactions through you. Why not directly provide the contact details to the people who might be interested in this deal? It's not like he's conducting an illegal business.

Then how would he sell the ps3 @ 24k price ?? If he reveals the dealer's details, then anyone can directly purchase it from the dealer @19k.
 
Pretty obvious the dealer is making a good sum here because he knows he's selling the moddable console. Maybe the OP also has his share?

What BS is that? I know a lot of guys who got themselves the PS3 because it was a cheap blu-ray player more than anything else. More so because during the thanksgiving last year, it came to as low as 200$ a pop. And they got the console back in India.

Blu-ray movies are dead cheap in the Amazon and can be shipped to India WITHOUT customs charging a paisa. The older classics retail for as low as 4~5$. Not to mention, folks residing in the US have access to plenty of retail marts that retail second hand discs for as low as 2~3$.

So in short, he and/or the dealer are trying to net a profit of 5k. My point still stands on the verification of 3.50 firmware and what would happen in the event that it fails to be this firmware. Is there anyway the OP can actually validate the firmware or provide assurance to the prospective buyers of a return policy, in case it fails to meet the requirement?
 
Exactly @Ethan_Hunt.
And totally agreed, the verification of 3.50 firmware is questionable. One can't really trust just like that without any proof.
OP should post some pics showing the firmware of ps3 as proof as he's sure that the ps3's are on 3.50 firmware.
