PS3 Buy help

I almost picked one up today, but at the last moment had some pressing doubts, hence decided against it.

It did not come with an HDMI cable. I know no other console includes it as part of its deal, however in store prices were around Rs 2000. Is it really that high ? Any other options ?

Secondly, I was worried about networking. How do I connect it to the internet. Is PPPoE supported ?
 
the ps3 doesnot come with a bundled hdmi cable. you can get hdmi cables for as cheap as 300rs so no need to go for the expensive ones.

you can connect to the net using a wifi router or using the wired solution. which ISP u have?
 
Yeah, get the HDMI cable separately. The one that Sony retails is ridiculously priced. Did u drop the plan of getting one from the US? :S
 
Ya i dropped the plan of getting it from teh us. I belive it is delicate for that travel , no chances. I bought it already. Enjoying it !!! The XMB rocks :D

One major prob. my VSNL pppoe connection doesnt work, however my other ISP pppoe connection work, i wonder why is that :s

might be some other problem with your vsnl.

buy the mx hdmi cable. its for 300rs. i am using that for quite a long time on my ps3.
