PS3 Controller not working - What to do?

ok after having the very same problem and reading yours i thought i to would have to buy a new hand controller but then i watched a video on utube and insteed of resetting the ps3 there is a small round hole on the back of the hand control that is a reset button use a small pin or tooth pick and click the little button and it worked like a treat hope this helps u as well :) as i only keeped on reseting the ps3 not the hand control :)

No, it didn't solve my problem. That controller became useless and I threw that off. Bought a new one.

In case you are planning to get one, indiatimes is selling one for 2093. check that.

If there is no warranty, that sucks. My controller failed after 4 months. Fortunately, here in US, they provide 1 year warranty. I mailed them almost 1 month ago. Haven't heard back since. I also forgot. Good thing I saw this post today.

Don't think there's warranty for the controller even in the US.
