It shouldn't as it has a universal power supply, that can work in any country.

Are you sure you have tried to reset the PS3? If you have synced it with another television, many a times you need to reset it.

You must have checked it in Australia with another television right ?

What display are you connecting the PS3 to? What interface does it connect through - HDMI or are you using a HDMI to DVI converter? Seems like you need to switch to the right mode on your display!

Are you using the correct av channel on the tv...??

most of the newer tvs have 3 or more channels.and no it doesnt matter if its an lcd or such.

I dont have newer tv bro i have aiwa tv may b 7 years old
and i just try to connect ps3 with my tv just like a VCR does.

Plug the RCA yellow jack to the Video-in on the back of your TV. And switch to the right channel.

I am using av output slot of ps3.
And does it matter the tv should be LCD?

CRTs do not do justice to the PS3 since their native resolution is 480p or SD. The PS3 should be ideally connected to at least an HD ready display if not a full HD display. :)

Hey,

I had the same problem.

While using the PS3 in Australia, did you used it on any other display setting other the AVI?

I did the same in US, and when I came back nothing displayed on the TV.

All you need to do is reset the PS3 by holding the power button for like 10-15 seconds.

It should work.

It's nothing to do with power supply, NTSC/PAL or whatever.

Just change the display settings from the PS3.

Hope it helps,
