PS3 not working EDIT: Fixed but running slow now!

The latest f.w of ps3 was soft bricking the consoles. The f/w upgrade was rolled back by sony after the news.
I hope you havent updated the console during that time..?

The consoles which have been soft bricked can be revived without breaking a sweat via official means. So no need to go berserk on that front. Breathe easy and get to the bottom of the problem your console is throwing up.
 
My ps3 was patched today[DOUBLEPOST=1372411269][/DOUBLEPOST]My ps3 is now fixed only problem it starts up very slow
