PS5 Slim / Pro leaks

For people buying PS5. This is definitely a good deal but do keep in mind that PS5 slim and pro are not far now and atleast slim usually cost less when released and are much more reliable in terms of longer life.

Pro ofcourse is going to expensive.

PS5 slim is probably coming soon. Pro is not. There is no credible intel on the Pro as far I’ve read.

PS5 Slim - Oct / Nov / Dec (Global). For India? God knows how long, knowing Sony, expect huge delays, probably Jan-Feb release here.
It‘s the same spec, just with better cooling, small chassis and optional add-on for disc drive.

PS5 Pro - Dev kits have already been sent out to companies, expect release by Fall 2024, Indian release as usual with a big delay!
They are aiming for 8K 30fps which is a joke IMO, you’ll probably get 8K with some 2D like games (Brawlhalla type).
For PS5 initial launch, they advertised 4K 60fps, in reality you have to chose between better Graphics or FPS for nearly every new game.
Expect the Pro to be able to do 4K 60fps (for a short while) with the better graphics now, still doubt RTX 60fps capabilities because each year, newer games are becoming more and more demanding and badly optimised.
