I am planning to buy psp within one week.
I want to know that can we hack psp 3004 to play pirated games without umd.
& can we use emulator like gba,ps1,etc & can installed softwares like pdf reader, movie player, etc
if we hack psp 3004 does the warranty void or it remains...
Apart from it what is the current price of psp 3004 in mumbai & what are the accessories we will get with psp.

1. Yes you can modify the firmware of the 3004. Search for CHICKHEN in Google. That will tell you the steps to follow.

2. Try not to ask blatant questions about piracy. It should be obvious to you what happens if you modify the firmware.

3. Not sure about the emulators for PS1. But I have seen a GBA emulator run of a 3004.

4. PDF reader can be installed if you are successful in modding the firmware. However no need for any movie player. Just convert any videos into a PSP compatible format and the PSP plays it off nicely with its inbuilt video player.

5. In Sony world, it should cost you around 8 to 9k. Apart from charger no additional accessories are provided[There are some special edition PSP's which have some UMD's]
 
no forget warranty after Mod... But With PSP nothings going to happen i had mine Moded three years back still working perfectly :D
