PSP GO or PSP 3000

Guys help me out to Buy a PSP. should I wait for the psp Go, or Should i buy psp 3000. Tell me one thing, wether PSP lite is PSP 3000.
and also tell me the price of PSP 3000 in Mumbai.
If The PSP Go goes for sale in north america on October 1, then when will it come to india.
 
Buy PSP Go only if u are not planning putting CFW!!

I'd suggest ol and trusty cfw compatible PSPs.

I think PSP-3000 does cfw(citation needed)
 
PSP Go should take a while getting to India as well as being hacked to run CFW. PSP 3000 already does run CFW.

PSP Lite generally refers to the PSP 2000 family though the 3000 is "liter" (i think)
 
Go for PSP 3000 only , PSP GO although is lighter and has 16GB memory inbuilt , but it will only play original games downloaded and bought from PSN store.

Also to me PSP Go looks ugly compared to PSP 2000 and 3000.

By this you mean you are sure it will never be hacked? Can you substantiate/corroborate?
 
Go for psp-3000 as the design is traditional and good ....

I feel the GO innovative but less appealing .....

What I meant was PSP 3000 is not fully and permanently hacked like PSP 2000 , its a temporary hack if you remove the battery the original firmware is loaded again.

Also only FW 5.3 is hackable on PSP 3000 , anything above is not possible yet.PSP 3000 has been out for sometime now , and its still not completely hacked.

PSP GO is gonna be relases this holiday season in Japan and US , it will take a few months to come to India and getting it hacked is gonna take even more time maybe more than a year late 2010 , just speculating..

PSP 2000 or 3000 is the way to go if you want to play downloaded games otherwise you can wait for PSP GO till early 2010. :)

It will be hacked as there is always a way. Just that it will take some time to do it. So the question is do you have the patience?
 
If you just can't wait...then PSP 3000 is the way to go..

1) its cheaper than go, price of go won't reduce within a short period of time, its sony so it is most likely skimmed in terms of its pricing.

2) the games you will only be d/l from their site, which is a painful & a costly procedure.

3) psp readily available, its prices have also lowered a bit, go will take its own sweet time to enter india, even if it does, there's a good chance it'll take quite a lot of time, and prices here will anyday be higher than what its price is elsewhere ( which sux to the core, but this is how it is for any product we get from elsewhere )
 
go for the psp 3000.the psp go hasnt released till now & when it'll release there cud be some h/w probs with it.imho its better to go with a device which has been in the market for sometime.
 
PSP - 3000. PSP Go! is more expensive... will not have custom firware running on it for quite some time. Go! has a smaller screen... cpu speed has not been increased. Seriously, a portable version of the Playstation Portable?
