PSP Help: HORI Guard +Downgrading @ Palika.. Who has got info ?

Guys,

Would be going to palika on Monday.. mainly for 2 purposes..

1) Purchase 2 HORI Screen Protectors for psp.

( 1 for my psp and second one for a frnd.)

2) Need to get Custom firmware installed on the frnd's psp.

Dont have an access to a CFW enabled psp here in noida , and really hard pressed for time these days.

---> So Anybody who has purchased the HORI screen protector?

---> Anybody who got a CFW installed on their psp in palika bazaar ??

Do quote the prices here and the shop name too (+ fone no if possible) ..

P.S : Anybody else looking to pick up the HORI screen guard for himself ?

can purchase for him.. Wd prefer local pickup by the purchaser. :ashamed:
 
For Custom Firmware, goto shop# 2 in Palika Bazar. IIRC, he will charge 250 bux for it.

He will also have tons of screen protectors, not sure about HORI though.

Will he be having the latest CFW with him too ?

I want 3.90 M33-3 to be installed...

No way to make out if the scratch guard is genuine ..? :S

And what wd be the total cost for the Hori scratch guard if procured from play asia ..?? i mean customs and all ..?

Went abt looking for the screen/scratch guard by Hori at play-asia..

they got 3 diff types of those..

Which is the best one to be applied ??
 
I am not too sure about the shop no but there is this shop with a sardarji which is there as you enter from the main gate. Bought my Hori guard for 150 RS. And he installed CFW for another 500 RS.

If you get a screen guard ask him to put it on as it way too easy to f**k it up if you do if yourself.

As far as fakes go I cant say if mine is original Hori or not but in the past six months or so since I put it on I have no complaints whatsoever. Its as close to a perfect screenguard as possible.

does stuff actually reach you in 2 weeks? my friend ordered the wow battlechest that took a month to arrive. now i've ordered aoc and it's taking longer than 2 weeks...

I've gotten stuff from play-asia within two weeks. (They weren't electronic items so wouldn't have gotten stuck at customs)

i dont have the required mem stick with me buddy.. infact neither of us have.

and.. i dont have access to a CFW enabled psp here either.. :(

2 major snags for the process.. else i wd have happily downgraded his psp.

n since we gonna be visiting a mkt where downgrading can be done, we mite as well get the job done there and get it over with.
 
i wanna know more abt it how to flash a CFW in psp and which FW is better i heard of 3.90 m33-3, 3.95 etc appriciate if sm1 can explain a bit.

I could have gladly done it for you but am really running around these days due to admissions, interviews and all . It's a easy 15 minute job.

The original hori screen guard comes with a Soft cloth and a plastic card to prevent bubbles forming under the guard and it won't be more than Rs 150.

The timing coudn't be better for me :D Just got a PSP and I live in Noida :)

Most probably yes. When I got mine flashed, he had 3.73 M33 which was the latest then.

I need to get 2 psp downgraded .. so i shd be getting some realistic idea..
250 x 2 will do the job for both the pspz .. so tell me what price he charged u ..? 250 rite ?

PSP Slim is for 8990/-

PSP Fat for 6.5k i believe ..

Got the PSP Downgraded to 3.90 M33 for 150/- [Palika Bazaar, Shop #2 Electronics Palace.. Mentioned TE for future ref. :)]

picked up the Hori Screen Protector for 150/- too ...

though he was saying that he mite be getting a bit cheaper from new source in a few days time.. but who has the time to wait and make another trip.

Got issue with the 3.90 CFW..

1) The usb connection dies in between making it impossible to copy the games on the mem stick.

The UMD games are running fine though .. sound is very mch there and play is smooth.. but the above mentioned 2 problems persist.

2) Also ... anybody here knows how to make a nand dump ..?

cudnt ask for it there as i wasnt allowed a peek-a-boo at the hacker..
