PSP Help: HORI Guard +Downgrading @ Palika.. Who has got info ?

Got the PSP Downgraded to 3.90 M33 for 150/- [Palika Bazaar, Shop #2 Electronics Palace.. Mentioned TE for future ref. :)]
picked up the Hori Screen Protector for 150/- too ...
though he was saying that he mite be getting a bit cheaper from new source in a few days time.. but who has the time to wait and make another trip.
Got issue with the 3.90 CFW..
1) The usb connection dies in between making it impossible to copy the games on the mem stick.
The UMD games are running fine though .. sound is very mch there and play is smooth.. but the above mentioned 2 problems persist.

2) Also ... anybody here knows how to make a nand dump ..?
cudnt ask for it there as i wasnt allowed a peek-a-boo at the hacker..

Yea, was thinking abt going onto 3.90 -3 M33..
thot maybe just ask around , so that if there is any screw up by the banda while the installation, i shd take steps to re install the darn thing properly..
Edit: 3.90-3 M33 Installed..
Working fine.

Now to make the nand dump .. anybody to help me out how i do that ??

err..I'm not really sure why do we need a nand dump? So that we can downgrade it ourselves at a later date? Something like a system restore in XP?
 
Chain toh hai hi nahi tere ko buddy .. eh ? :D

Koi nahi .. even i was that excited wen i had my psp in the transit...

The nand dump is kinda signature of ur psp .. and u need the nand data so as to restore the psp back IF at any time u brick ur psp ... Again .. IF at all..

but once u r on a CFW.. u only have to update ur existing CFW.

Just a precautionary thingie.

I think i shd charge u 400 more here..

as i asked the price for putting the ahem games on the mem stick, price was 100/- a game.. :P

U gonna get :

1) Daxter

2) Ridge Racer

3) Tekken Dark Resurrection

4) Locoroco

I just tried to stuff the games from different genres.. hope u like em..

You could charge that much just for the effort you have put in :)

I looked up the games. The review sites won't open. Stupid office filters!!

But screen shots look awesome :hap2:
 
Yup ..

some stoopid prob with the old wire it seems ..

Games are now on the mem stick, and they all are my best picks..

Try to look for reviews on Gamestop.. thats a pretty good site IMO

Currently looking how to make the dump ..

And Will install a document reader onto the psp.. so that i can read the pdf format novels with the psp..

will put the same for ur psp as well .. ;)

Took the Dump of the Nand of the psp(s).

All Set... :hap2:

3) 4 Games.

CFW + Nand Dump On the mem stick.

Total Damage: 300/-

Better Get Another 1000/- Bucks with u ... I think u are being let off pretty lightly... :bleh: (j/k)

i think u owe me a chilled Cold Coffee Now...

I'm more of a beer person, but I guess coffee won't be too bad either.:)
