Currently I have 2 systems.

1. G31-MS2L + e5200 + 4670 Running on a noname generic PSU purchased from a electronics guru whom I trust. Its working flawlessly with a 4670.

2. Asus Striker 2 Formula (780i) + e6850 + 8800GT running on a VX450.
Now the Striker is dead and buried, so the G31 is adorned with the e6850.
The e5200 is gone to a friend in need. I am going i5 on a P7P55-Deluxe. The worrying factor is, will the VX450 be able to handle this P55 + i5 + 4850 combine? (there are some 3-4 HDDs + 3 120mm fans as well).

Another question would be from where can I get 1156 mounting brackets for Zalman 9700/OCZ Vendetta2 locally?

The VX450 should be an ideal PSU for that system.

Btw 'a electronics guru' = Bikey? :P

There's no denying of Bikey dada's "guru" status, however the person i meant to mention was sangram.

Thanks for the assuring replies guys. I'll stick to the Corsair. (Was actually looking for a reason to jump on Appo's 1KW PSU but now won't). :P

@Taher: Will sure ask prime. Whats the best way to contact them? Had dropped a mail earlier but no relpy :( ?
