My Corsair VX450W bought in Oct 2007 is on its last legs. The same PSU bought by my cousin at the same time just failed. I would like to replace it before it fails.

I just can't find a decent PSU below Rs 5000. Ideally I would like a Seasonic G-360 type PSU :

My config is lo-power ( Haswell i3 using integrated graphics, one SSD, one WD Blue ).

Any suggestions ? Seasonic S12II 430 not available anywhere.

Have you looked at the Antec VP550P ?

BTW, what makes you say your current PSU is "on its last legs" - what indications?

It's 10 years. I def don't want a PSU failing when my system is on - it may take a few other components along with it.

Dang. Mine too is around 9 years, currently using it on a new PC. I guess I should switch to the crappy but new vs550 that I got!

Even my psu is like 10 years old now. How do we even test a psu whether its giving enough power over all the cables on full load?
I wonder where we get the Cooler Master Master Watt Lite psu in 500W range here.

Just got the Seasonic S12II620 for 6k. Both 520 and 620 are overpriced online. I did not haggle at all for the 620, could have shaved couple hundred.
