Forum Feedback Public Warning For Certain Members

Dear Members,

During the past few days we have noticed that several members are responsible for excessively spamming the forums, creating Off Topic threads and posts in main sections, misusing certain forum features and posting useless threads.

Some of the members are being issued a public warning by the means of this thread namely:

• Aditya
• Vandal
• Knoughtyd
• Monalac
• Bluffmaster
• Udit
• Techboy
• shahbaaz_vision

Please note that you are under a strict vigil from now. Consider this as a final warning before any steps are taken against you. Most of you have been members here for long enough to know whats right and whats wrong to post.

Kindly ensure that you donot break any more rules to avoid a stricter action against you.

The members in the list above, will have a 20% post count deduction and a 10% reputation deduction as well as a 20% nickel reduction.

There are other members who are very close to entering the above list. Please ensure you read the rules and follow them in the future and help us to keep the forums clean. Please stick to the topics and avoid all off topic posts. Some of these members have been warned via PMs and a 10% reduction in reputation has been awarded to them.

All the members in the above list have been sent a PM with the link to this thread. They are expected to reply here within the next 24 hrs to confirm that they have read the above warning.

Sure XT I take ur Challenge ! I am sure u will come up with something that r maybe against the rulz or something BUT thats not the point here. If u r saying that only guyz listed in that List spam and make useless threads then well I can come with another 50 members that r doing the same ! But u dont warn them coz maybe they r friends or very old members ! BTW I am shocked not to find Mr. Nikhils name in dat List ! According to me he is the Biggest spammaster !

It would be unfair to just call some as spammers and some as not. There should be equality in dispensation of justice and warnings whether be a mod, top poster, noob or just a regular ordinary member

To all those of the members who have replied, I would like to stress on the fact that you must read the rules before you post on the forums. While registering here you did agree to abide by the rules.

Please note that this is a general warning to all those listed above, individual reasons have not been specified. But, if you all insist, we are ready to provide the reasons to you for the same.

It is mentioned in the above post that there are others who have been warned via PM also. There are only 8 members who are listed here amongst them.

This is a unanimous decision by the staff considering all your posts. There is no doubt that a few of you have posted good posts like listed above. But, there are other posts which are totally against the forum rules.

As far as warning the other members publically goes, there are a few who have improved and have hence been left out of the list here.

As most of you in the above list have been members for a long time it is expected that you set a good example for the new members and post respectably and in the right sections and not post just for the sake of increasing your post count or just because you think that flaming a member is necessary. Please remember that this is a forum viewed by members of all ages.

However, this list will be edited and your name can and will be removed if your conduct on the forum improves.

Those of you in the list who wish to have proper explainations regarding the rules they broke, please post here. We will be glad to show you the proof.

Apart from that, it is suggested that you kindly maintain a civil tone while interacting with us.

All the spam posts and all the members (normal members, staff members, admins) anyone must be reported inorder for us to take action against a certain member. It is difficult for us all the time. We have taken action based on the information we have.

Kindly note that the number of posts reported by others has a major impact on this list.

Bluffmaster, the relevant posts, links etc will be posted here after the reply of all the members listed in the first post is posted.
Meanwhile, you can all send in your reports, if any to the staff via the report post button. If there is no post you can report but there is any different behaviour, please donot hesitate to send PMs to the staff members.

Those of you who have complaints against me may forward them to Safin or Quickfire.

While we wait for the others in question to reply, kindly be patient and maintain a cool head.

I dont get the point here.
This is just a warning, and as stated ur name will be removed after seeing ur behaviour. We already have a hard time dealing with the forums and next thing we want is more useless posts or thread crap. once in a while its ok and can be tolerated, but when the ratio of ur good posts Vs. the not so good ones increase, action will be taken.

This thread is more practical than sending individual PMs to all the members in question, but the latter dosent help much because the person in question dosent really care about the PM, coz well they are private and dosent bring any -ve impact to them

where as a public thread like this will knock some sense that we are no kids playground.

good OT discussions are well not a problem but when the flames gets dragged to other sections as well, its a problem for us.

imagine as a new user u register and all u find is instead of tech, only OT posts and flame wars.

again this is a staff decision and no need to blame Xterminator here, if u wanna blame someone, blame the staff but that wont help much.

Speakera for 10K, appo another mod, says I am an idiot cause I have 3 speaker sets costlier than many PC's?? did I say MX>ATP 3 there specifically to be called an overstating idiot??

How un professional, he don't get any warnings cause he's a mod... I was helping someone decide simply because I have 3 of the speakers in question sitting in my house..

Another example is the Mohit - zebby thing.. So they say I got kicked out... would I be working where I am if it were so?? Isn't that maliging someone?? If I were fired HR's in my current job (and were so unprofessional), would've had a field day wouldn't they?? Fact being that small organisations (less than 50 people) are usually b1tchy about past employees, (especially when they plead for the person to stay on and still get dumped :bleh: (whose the doshi :tongue: party now, pun intended) especially ones who play a pivotal role in selling their stuff... Now I'm not complaining as I had a good time in Chennai during both my employment tenures there, but just proving a point about spamming etc...

Now no hard feelings again, and warning accepted so mods don't flame this reply...
