ppl acting smart thinkin others are jus bafoons....i alwayz trusted TE members n now even i will b forced to think twice to deal on TE..
even ma frens askd how d hell do u do such trades...no gaurantee....i alwayz said TE-is like a family...n do we cheat in a family??...
i hope i wnt have to change my thought.....

For someone who is in the market with a fair deal, thread crapping shouldn't affect his/her sale anyway
 
I think Members should post in market section if the prices given by user are way to high or way to low. or anything else which seems fishy with a intention to avoid scam.

even if they are nowhere related to deal, and aren't interested in buying
 
All out freedom to post whatever you want cannot be entertained in market to be honest.

Many people misuse it. Unjustified quotes, comments, offers are day to day matter in market even today. There was a long discussion about this a while ago.

If you find something fishy, report it or ask mods.

but tusharastogi shud be a given a few more hrs to defend.

Tat chap hasn posted here for a long time; Guess he's seeking refuge elsewhere.

Besides banning the IP wont solve the issue cos of dynamic IPs.
 
Cmmon guys give it a rest now. If you have anything constructive to add only then post here. We will not ban him as that is not a solution. Wait for some new rules and guidelines that will be implemented soon.

The person in question has refused to comment and defend himself, he believes he is right and doesnt care what others think. Thats what he told the staff. So let him be.
 
^^So you mean to say you will allow a known scammer to go scotfree on TE? What he did was way way more heinous and disgusting that what techboy ever did. If techboy got banned, this guy deserves a lot more than just the ban hammer for sure.

Techboy was a menace which kept coming back so he was banned to restrain him. This guy and other scammers like viking are not coming back from their own ID (His duplicate ID was banned though)

Whether we ban him or not, they will try to get onto TE with a new ID coz their old ID will be noticed immediately by others.

Its not possible to IP ban anyone coz that creates problem for genuine members too.

So a logical alternative is to have a blacklisted thread where the staff can keep adding such members. We would be rolling that out too with the new regulations.

We can of course have both the ban and the blacklist with the members' details, if thats what everyone feels.

I personally dont support a ban anymore coz over the years I have noticed that it doesnt really work, or is needed. Only instance it is required is when you want to shut out a spammer.

^^ How about Blacklisted member being appeared under the name :P....anyway the problem will be that he will rather create a new id and start all his deeds again. And if anyone gets conned that will be bad thing.

Btw do we have a feature of Mac address ban :rofl:
