HI guys,, i need reviews n details regarding these two babies..how much these would cost in on road..
waiting for urs rep..
Thnx

If you can afford it, go for the 200. No doubt abt it. It's a much better bike. A friend has it and it is abt 6-7k more expensive than the 180. It is money well spent.

75k?? that seemed more than wat i knew..

anyhow the 200 is an oil cooled bike, plus its noticeably bigger and heavier but makes up in the perfo...

yea dats true. i vil say wait 4 yamaha yzf r15.(mid august i s'ppose) top speed around 140kmph

if ur plannin 2 buy apache rtr f1 i suggest go wid rtr 160 coz rtr f1 no performance man. jst has dual disc brakes and d top speed is below than rtr 160

Actually, Bikey makes a lot of sense (as usual :P ).

Wait for the apache RTR FI.

I wouldnt suggest waiting for the R15. Yamaha India dont really have a good track record of launching bikes on time.

And the figure of 21bhp is being bandied abt a lot. I highly doubt it will really make that much. Highly unlikely from a 150cc.

It will either be more than 150cc (very unlikely given that R15 = 150cc) or it will actually make "only" 17-18 bhp.

hehe 150s can easily make double power than 21BHP  but economy and life will be hit :P

infact world record for a 125cc top speed is something like 130mph. or maybe even more, havent checked.

I am aware of that. But Yamaha cannot afford to make a bike developing 21 bhp which gives 25kmpl and will need an overhaul after 15k kms.

Keeping all of this in mind, I doubt it will be more than 17 bhp or so.

I hope I am wrong though.

LOL! A CBZ Extreme makes 14+ bhp, at 150cc, and the R15 will definitely make 20 if not more. Besides, quoted mileage is around the 35 mark. Yamaha is not foolish to launch a performance bike that makes 17bhp when Honda has performance launches around the corner that will also do 20+ for sure.

I say if YZF R125 can produce ~14bhp,Its no too much to ask for 18-20bhp.

Suzuki has a 125 or 150 sportsbike to be(?) unveiled. Also Honda may bring CBR125 in future.

^ Yup and the R15 has the EXACT same setup. These bikes are all clones of the R1, Liquid Cooled, Fuel Injected, Deltabox Frame, 6-speed trannies, even the same instrument panel.

The R15 up at the Auto Expo was red-lined at 10.5k RPM btw ;)

:)Will these bikes be actually coming? I keep hearing things but none materialise. Evenheard that the Ninja 250cc will be released in India

I own a P200 and its a very good bike.

but if you ask me, I would wait till jun-july for the Yamaha YZF-R15.
P200-75k on road.
YAM-below 1Lakh

NINJA is coming too but price would be no less than 1.8L
