Karizma R
pros
tried and tested, robust Honda engine, torquey engine esp at lower revs, gr8 Nissin disk brake. The chassis is a semi dirt/off road style so lots of ground clearance. Pillion comfort is the best. Battery pwered headlamp
Gr8 as Sports-tourer. low NVH at 100+KMPh. a noob can take corners at suprising lean angles, ie inspires throwing around like no other bike, thanks to the brilliant chassis. cheapest yet biggest engine. 223cc
Performance + commuter bike
cons
For me biggest -ve is the new speedo assembly, yuck!!!
35 W stock headlight, not so good reflactor, rear plastic cowl prone to break. damn high spare part costs including consumables like brake pads, shoes, clutch plates etc. and if u have an accident then u need to rob a nearby bank.
HH service and Warranty is the worst.
It's 7 years old..so very little POSER value. good for road side parking
P220
pros
new, poser value, gr8 warranty for replacemets and custmoer care if you know how to approch (we can help), Better FE, tubeless and fatter tyres, low NVH due to FI, best Headlights in indian bikes, LCD console, LED tail, clip on handle bar (non adjustable), cheaper spares, split seat,Battery pwered headlamp.
cons
Oil "is" cooled not Oil cooled, if u know what I mean.
very few P220 sold are problem free, but newer batch is said to be good. spares are always unavailable, lower quality parts to save the cost, 220 Fi yet looks like Pulsar 150, seats are "not as" comfortable as Kzma's. Not as flickable as R15, RTR in slow traffic.
My roadside Chhotu is better than most of the Probiking mechanics.
P200
Pros
BEST looking pulsar, or "the indian bike" Black engine theme looks gr8, poser value, gr8 warranty for replacemets and custmoer care if you know how to approch (we can help), tubeless and fatter tyres, LCD console, LED tail, cheaper spares, split seat, easy to maintain due to the carb ( no need to rush to probiking for paid services)
cons
low FE, bad headlight etc, Head lamp is powered by alternater, etc.
R Pandhraa
Pro
newest, gr8 poser value, total chic manget, superb front and profile looks, FI+LC, twin Headlamps, Battery pwered headlamps, cool white backlit LCD panel, Full fairing, Tubeless tyres, gr8 chassis, full sporty riding stance, monoshock, GR8 Yamaha build quality.
cons
1.10+ Lac, and yet only 150 cc (if someone asks), max poer comes at high RPM, hard core sporty riding stance, not good at slow commute, city ie stop and go traffic, stiff suspension will break ur back on a long ride on bumpy (aka Indian
)roads, little bit small for tall riders, front looks killed by the no. plate, rear looks are killed by the skinny 100/80 tyre, Low FE, spares will be costly, service feedback and spares availabilty are unknown.
I would still suggest you to consider RTR FI, if not one of these.
Pros
VFM at 72.5K
better FE, less cost, better quality than Bajaj, blue backlit speedo with 0-60 kmph time and top speed recording, adjustable clipons, engine can be reved hard, gr8 throtle response, etc.
cons
small, not so good "but better than P200" Headlamp, alternator powered headlamp 35W, headlamp can not be lowered much esp needed in rainy season ,etc.
PS: I know I must have missed out many points and done many spell and grammer mistakes but it's 4:45 am guys.
