Pune | Recommend furniture shop for custom size sofas

Folks,

Am planning to change my sofa sets and am unable to find many shops that deliver custom size sofas. Can someone please recommend me some?

For the reference, I could figure out Trendz Furniture:

Any clue how good they are?

Ekbote is the place to visit. They have a shop in Mukund nagar area near Swargate. The best thing to do would be to get a custom sofa made from them, instead of buying a readymade one.

I did inquire with them, but they denied providing custom sofas. Do they do it as per customer basis?

Just suggested, cause u then know what quality of material goes into it, especially the cloth..Theres loads of variety in the cloth market..:D

Oh, I thought they created custom sofas.

There is an entire lane of furniture shops where I live. Do you know Katraj? Take the Pune Satara road towards Katraj from Swargate and after you pass the Vivekanand statue, on your left hand side, you will see many furniture shops that make Sofas. Why don't you try one of them?

Errr... the shops you are referring are nothing but like roadside shops of small carpenters who I really doubt know their job well! ;)
Did you try 'nu-furn'?

No dude, just visited the shops 2 days ago and saw some really made sofas. And how can you be sure that these biggies (Ekbote/Home town/Croma) are not outsourcing there work to these guys? :bleh:

Have you visited timber market near bhavani peth. If you are planning to make customised sofa set it is the best place where u will get good quality wood.

Oh ok then.. They didn't seem so actually when I had visited them to make a small rack. They had quoted me 3k for a small 4 x 4 rack :S. Hence I thought so. :)
