I have decided to upgrade soon (after july 22nd max 2-3 weeks). This is the config along with the prices quoted to me by my dealer in Pune. Now the thing is that i had decided that i will go to bombay to buy all these things. But Since they are available in pune and if they seem to be reasonable rates (total +/- 2 to 4K overall), i guess it will be better to purchase from pune itself. It will be easier to carry the stuff to my home and also if something goes wrong ( i dont have to go to bombay all the time). the MOBO and CPU rates he didnt quote now as he didnt have them as of now. And in any case i will inquire about the process after july end.
1. P35 (asus P5KC)
2. Core 2 Quad Q6600
3. 8800 GTX (brand not decided, lots of confusion) - 33K (Point of View)
4. 4x1GB Transcend Jet RAM @ 800 FSB - 2.5 K per 1GB Stick
(or CORSAIR VALUE) - 3.4K per 1 gb stick
5. Cooler Master Stacker 830 - 11.5 K
6. Corsair HX 620 - 7.5 K
Also i am writing down the cost of few other things that i asked just to see the difference between his and bombay rates
1. Asus P5N32 E SLI - 12.5K
2. Corsair Extreme Memory (512x2 = 1GB dual channel kit) - 9.5K
3. Cooler Master Aquagate (either S1 or Mini 80) - 4.5K
Please tell me after looking at these rates. Should i come to bombay and purchase the stuff, or pune is fine. Also i know the dealer so when i purchase so many things he might give me some more discount.
