Laptops Purchase HP-Pavillion Laptop from DUBAI or locally?

@OP, better go for local purchase of HP laptop. I doubt they give International warranty. I am using HP Pavilion dv9312tx purchased from Cochin for the past 2 years(i have already replaced my dvd writer 3 times, GPU once, Mobo once, Display once through HP's warranty and care pack)

Confirm the warranty thing before going for an international purchase of HP Laptop.

(On a side note,Dell offers much better service and product quality than HP in India)

Don't generalize your personal problem with the brand to everything.

Myself and couple of other friends are using HP laptops from many years and had not got not even a single problem.
