HI,

I have purchased 3 item online from US( earphones for my frnds about 60USD), China( 5233 data cable about 4 USD) and Hongkong (Misc items woth 16 USD). All of them are taken around 1st week of Feb 2010. Its been almost 50 days and not received a single item.

All the sellers have shipped the item in 2-3 days. Can some one help me how to track these? These items were sent in normal shipping methods. I am from hyderabad.

thanks....

Try contacting the seller. Bought an item was eBay US from an hong kong seller. The item didn't reach me even after 40 days so the seller refunded the payment.

If you paid by Paypal you can open a dispute and the seller should refund the payment.

I reached the US seller, he said he will ship them again. I have paid all the items through paypal only.

Any idea on where is the Hyderabad foreign PO located?

there is no FPO in hyderabad, you have to get in touch with mumbai FPO with out tracking number and they will update you, if it has entered India

Thanks Rave, Does GPO provide any update?
Also Does any one have FPO mumbai and chennai number or email IDs?

FPO will provide you updates, but reaching them is a different issue altogether, best of luck

it takes time..my package took over 1.5 months..but it came from US. as said..check with local FPO..that's the only solution.

Be sure to open the dispute if you have not received your items because you don't know if the seller actually shipped it or not, You get only 45 days so do it ASAP.

And escalate it to claim only on the last day so you can till then look around at the local post office etc.

Try this number: (022) 2262 0091 (Mumbai custom's office)

But I don't think they can help you without any tracking numbers.

I guess the customs guys have with held the stuff.I had ordered stuff worth $10 from ebay the seller was from Hongkong i got the stuff in 3 week delivered to Bangalore .

If it is stuck at customs, at least they should notify me right. All the sellers agreed to send it again, but I am not sure even this time I get it or not?

ull get a letter from the customs department but its not registered and hence no gurantee that you have received it even if they sent you a notice

contact the FPO at mumbai and quote your USPS tracking number, they WILL have it on their database and will update you

If you have someone in bbay who can personally go to the FPO and check it out, that'll be ideal

FPO's number i think is 022-22611791, keep trying, quite difficult to get through but eventually you will

I tried reaching the Customs and FPO.. No update. They asked me to contact the USPS INDIA :(

I tried to track the shipment with tracking number.Following strange thing is displayed.

Label/Receipt Number: LJ32 0121 006U S
Class: First-Class Mail International
Service(s): International Letter
Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on February 16, 2010 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. No further information is available for this item.
Also I reached this seller, He said he will ship it again about a week back and there is no response again from him for my Mails/Messages. Its been more than 45 days hence I can not open a case in resolution center of ebay.com.

Can some one tell me what to do?

Err first class mail is not trackable, and it takes anywhere from 45-60 days to come, nothing much you can do except ask the seller to ship again by usps express or usps priority mail, or forget about your order all together

It looks like from this message that it was never shipped in the first place

Some good signs for me here.. The item from China has arrived. Its the item that I took first in the list.

Approximately 75 days. It was shipped from China as per seller, but the parcel says its from Singapore

Id recommend getting in touch with your local postman, giving him some chai pani and promise some more when the package comes and claim its some universtiy thing or something so that he doesnt flick it himself would help
