Is it safe to purchase medicine from online pharmacy companies in India.

I have to purchase some medicines for a period of time (unsure but ordering at least for a month).

Can you suggest if purchasing medicines online is proper or not..
I cannot list sites details who sell those online, there are many...

But fact being online medical shops are offering upto 30% discounts compared to local chemists (including reputed hospital chemists who do not offer any discounts) who offer discounts from 5% to 8% max.

Medicines are costing me above 6 figure... for 1 month. (some of those very important as per doctor, some injections).

I will be very happy to understand, if it is safe to order from online websites, (specially advertised on many TV channels) at same time worried as many Youtube videos clearly say those are fake..

Any person who as knowledge in this field kindly confirm..

Please don't buy from these site... they might be funded by FOREIGN AGENTS AND BE AGAINST INDIA!!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
 
No one gives 30% discount on Standard medicines, that is probably on Generic medicines.
Even wholesalers margin is 29-30% on branded meds and your local retailer has margins from 24-26% and 90% margins on Generics.

If you want to get maximum discount for long period, better to talk with your wholesale pharmacy guy who can offer up to 20% on Standard meds, if you can find a generic like Anti-histamines on sites like www.1mg.com you could go for Generics where you can discounts up to 60%.

Also, the problem with online pharmacies is they cannot provide all meds at one go giving all lame excuses, this happened with pharmeasy.

You could go for medplusmart who offer 15% discount if you order online or your local wholesaler is the last stop.
