I wanted to know can i buy it. I mean will there be any duty on it.. please help. since i am trying to buy a laptop with extreme high-end configuration. Alienware won't ship in india as well.....

buddy im sure even if they dont charge duty.. when the laptop lands in india it would get stuck at ta customs an there unless u hav some jack ul land up paying a load of money as bribe.. so think twice before ordering such an expensiv machine.. also hav u inquired bout ta rma for the same? wat happens if somethin goes wrong??
 
ya thats what i was worried about. Since their chat support was offline so i could not ask.

But help me explain this thing. If something is coming via postal courier, how come it can get stuck in custom.

n the duty on it will b a BOMB!!!!!!!!!!

unless u can get someone to carry it from abroad, forget it :P
 
no..cos ppl coming are allowed to carry in 1 laptop for free :) it ll prob have to be in the laptop bag tho..not sealed. so long as thats done, ur good :)
