CPU/Mobo Q6600 Motherboard Help

Hi people,

Iam using the Intel q6600 processor for 2 year. AS It failed to work from yesterday.so Iam in search Of new motherboard for lga 775/q6600

Please suggest Me a Good motherboard - My preferences are

Gigabyte or asus with with vga

if Ddr 3 please suggest Me a Good Ram also for that

Total budget up to 7k

I think its not worth spending 7k on older 775..best is sell ur current cpu which ll fetch some cash so go ahead and get x4 955be..even I though of getting mobo for my e6600 but i could find only g41 chipset!!
 
Then get g41 + corsair ddr3 -Rs.2.5k+1.3k = 3.8k but I advice u to get
phenom X4 955be+ gigabyte ma880gm usb3l + ddr3 - old (cpu & ram) that comes to 6.1k+4.5k+1.3k-3.5k = 8.4k
 
^^ Dont think the Phenom X4 955be will be that much quicker then a Q6600 to warrant a jump. As stated get the Gigabyte G41 chipset based mobo, should be cheap and should last you for at least 1-2 years more :)

Should suffice you for gaming at 1680*1050 resolutions :)
