CPU/Mobo Q9450 Redington Batch

Hi Guys,

just got this Cpu from Phoenix it a Q9450 Rev C1 Batch L813B014.

Does 3.6ghz @ 1.3v not really gone above 1.3 to see how much more she can go.

Overall batch seems Good not very very good.


 
This is not too bad to be honest.

You will hit the FSB wall soon anyway. So 1.3v 3.6G is decent enough..

The best chips were 802-803 and 804 week. Thats one of the reasons for me deciding against Q9450 and the fact that this chip is as good as dead. Q9550 is replacing this completely and that too aint ocing too high.
 
this is the max the chip does 470mhz @ 1.38v 3761Mhz



15363 3dmarks compared to my old E8400 @ 4 ghz which scored 14446

 
This processor is awesome , i bought Q6600 before and was not able to overclock it more than 3.2ghz :@ , got the Q9450 from phoenix today , same batch , got it running @ 3.6ghz in 2 min and its stable @ 1.31 volts on my EVGA 750i FTW board , will try overclocking further soon . :ohyeah:

Lolz... You could not breach more than 3.2G on a Q6600??? :O

And lets see hw the Q9450 goes before u hit the FSB wall... ;)

lol yea the Q6600 i had needed 1.48volt just for 3.2 ghz and on 3.4 ghz it was not even stable but could but , on 3.6 cant even boot . bad overclocking chip i think . :rofl:

Tried overclocking it more , hits fsb wall at 465mhz , can boot at 3.7 ghz but not 100 % stable :( .
tested 3dmark06 @ 3640mhz , got approx 6k cpu score :ohyeah:

thats the trick for pi run at high clocks.....but farookh didnt u have E8400???? If yes then what will u do with these no.s????
 
My E8400 has gone to Gannu,
I always felt the e8400 slow and laggy after i went from q6600 even with the e8400 oc to 4ghz.
But the q9450 is fast i can acually feel it much much better than the e8400 even @ 3.4ghz.

But I can really feel the move from a Cel 420 to the E8400!!! :ashamed:

Doing 445x9 @ 1.325v without any hassles; :)

Nah; Its a PITA w/o a proper pot n moreover I'm busy with other stuff;

Sourcing DICE is another PITA; Nearest option being Chennai; :P
